Parking in Olympia
Most of the roads around Olympia are controlled parking, and either parking suspensions or dispensations are required. For larger Removals in Olympia a parking suspension is a necessity. The suspension has to be booked 8 working days in advance of the required date. Depending on location, these are booked with Hammersmith and Fulham or Kensington and Chelsea council online. For smaller Olympia removals, using vans, we can load and unload for short periods on single yellow lines. Otherwise a dispensation would need to be booked, if we are packing and Olympia flat moving.

A Little Bit About Olympia
Olympia’s story began in May 1884. John Whitley had created the National Agricultural Hall Company with the aim of building and operating the countries largest covered show centre. The National Agricultural Hall soon changed its name to Olympia in keeping with its ideals and objectives. Olympia exhibition and conference centre opened in 1886.
Built by Andrew Handyside of Derby it covered an area of 16,000 m2. The Grand Hall 140m in length, 76m in breadth was said to be the largest building in the kingdom covered by one span of iron and glass. It now features four event venues and a conference centre.
The centre in West Kensington lies in W14 and on the boundary between the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea and the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham.
